Julia López is a seasoned Teaching Artists, with experience in program management, relationship building, and facilitating across disciplines, cultures, age groups, creating environments where social change and justice can be achieved.
Her experience as a Teaching Artists, focuses on providing opportunities for communities to have a shared experience, to collaborate and to stretch any ideas that they may have had about creativity.
Her work is deeply rooted in the creative process, intellectual stimulation and action. Julia has performed and facilitated Art & Social Change workshop experience throughout the United States, Mexico, Madrid – Spain, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Cuba. Julia has a BA in Theater Arts from Wesleyan University, attended the Eugene O’Neill National Theater Institute in Waterford, CT, and the Instituto Internacional in Madrid, Spain.
